Rain spat through gnarled trees. The roundabout creaked and turned.
Nathan's eyes narrowed into slits. "What do you want from me?"
"To help," Mark said.
"You want to help? You really want to help?"
Mark nodded. "Yes."
Digging his heels into the earth, the swing slowed right down and then stopped. Nathan jumped off, stumbled, straightened. He was trembling. There were tears and snot trails across his dead white face. "Come here then," he said.
