A brand new story of mine, 'The Blackening', has just been published in the anthology 'The Monster Behind The Mask' from Static Movement. Here's an excerpt:
"The road snaked again and this time (Howard) stopped. Fifty yards ahead, the road vanished into darkness and nothingness. Howard glanced around and behind him, where there were dead trees and barbed foliage and a purple sky pin-pricked with stars, then turned quickly back to the dark. He sensed vast space, age and imminent and impersonal danger."
